Returns & Exchanges

Refunds are limited to the purchase price of the goods sold. We will accept returns of any unsatisfactory item provided it is unused, in resalable condition and returned with a copy of your original invoice within 30 days of the invoice date. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping costs will be paid for by the buyer.

Refunds will be limited to the purchase price of the products returned. Returns may be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. Always insure your return for it’s proper value to protect yourself against the carrier loosing or damaging your package. Any returns should be sent prepaid via UPS. We will not accept shipments sent COD. No refund/credit will be extended for any merchandise returned in unsatisfactory condition; the item(s) will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Order shortages or errors must be reported within 15 days of receipt.

Excluded Products & Services

Sorry, but we can not give any refunds on new mufflers which have been installed or attempted to be installed, and any mufflers not in their original box or wrapper etc. Any muffler that has been altered in any way (sanded on, painted or ground on etc.) may not be returned. Be sure to check the part over thoroughly for shipping damage.

Damaged Freight/Truck Line Merchandise

The Coffin Muffler® Co. takes every precaution to ensure your merchandise will arrive in new complete condition. However, shipment accidents occasionally occur. When receiving products via truck freight, make sure you inspect each and every box thoroughly and open the packaging to make sure product is undamaged before the driver leaves. Do not sign the receipt until everything has been inspected. Damages need to be noted in writing by the driver on the freight bill. Claims for damage during shipment are the responsibility of the carrier and not The Coffin Muffler® Co. Shipment charges to send a new replacement product are also the responsibility of the carrier and not The Coffin Muffler® Co. Signing for the delivery, without noting damaged, acknowledges the order was received in good condition and will not be applicable for freight damage, or loss, by The Coffin Muffler® Co. or the freight carrier.

UPS Shipments

All shipments are insured for the full value of the products. If you have any damaged products please notify us Immediately so we can get a claim put in and a replacement product out to you as soon as possible. Remember to keep all the original packaging material for any damaged shipment. Damages to items shipped via UPS must be reported within 7 days of receiving the shipment.

Back Orders

The Coffin Muffler® Co. will do our best to notify you of any mufflers that may be temporarily out of stock at the time of your order. Any back ordered items will appear as such on your invoice and will be shipped as soon as we receive them in stock. You will not be charged for back orders until the item(s) ship.

International Shipments

All international shipments will be charged a $15.00 processing fee. All merchandise will have to be paid for via electronic money transfer or Paypal. Total shipping costs must be paid for by the buyer prior to shipment; we have no way of shipping items international via freight collect or COD. International shipments must be shipped USPS Parcel Air or UPS Worldwide. International shipping charges are non-fundable and return shipping costs are paid for by the buyer.
